OVERVIEW
The NUIFC invites American Indian and Alaska Native artists to submit digital artwork for our 2024 Democracy is Indigenous campaign. The winning piece of artwork will be featured nationally to elevate the importance of the urban Indian vote and used in marketing materials that will be shared with our cohort of urban Indian non-profits.
The winning submission will receive a cash prize of $3,000!
To enter the contest, artists must submit a digital piece of artwork inspired by the theme ‘Democracy is Indigenous’ to the NUIFC no later than October 1st, 2023. The artwork must be digital and be able to be used for posters, social media, and other marketing and voter engagement materials. Artists may submit up to three pieces of art.
The selected artist will have their artwork used work in promotional materials for the NUIFC’s 2024 national Native voter engagement efforts. The art will be published on the NUIFC’s website, social media, and printed materials reaching thousands, as well as being part of a collection of visual centerpieces highlighted throughout the election season.
Prior to you submitting your work for review, we ask that you read through the terms of the 2024 NUIFC artwork form found on the NUIFC website. If your work is the selected image, you will be required to verify that you agree to the terms. Review Use of Image terms here.
